Who is the NHCTA?The New Hampshire Community Theatre Association fosters and encourages interaction and development of community theatre in New Hampshire. NHCTA is a member organization of the American Association of Community Theatre (AACT).

Box 1036, Concord NH 03302-1036 NHCTA: Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals Who Is On the Board of Directors?![]() Mariah HerlihyPRESIDENT Mariah is excited to continue her work with the NHCTA board as president. She is currently Chair for Actors' Circle Theatre and directed their award winning production of Neil Simon's "Jake's Women" which won three New Hampshire Theatre Awards including Best Director for a Drama. She also enjoys being on stage whenever she can. When not performing on or off stage she works for C.I.M. Industries and volunteers with AFS Intercultural Programs. Sally NuttNHCTA EX-OFFICIARY PRESIDENT From the age of 12, no matter where she's lived, theatre's been a part of Sally Nutt's world. Since moving to southern New Hampshire in 1999, she's worked with many groups around the area. At the 2005 New Hampshire Theatre Awards, she won "Best Supporting Actress in a Play-Community Theatre" for her performance as Professor Ashford in NEAMD's production of Wit. She's also performed with Lowell's Image Theatre, and at Boston's Devanaughn Theatre and Actors Workshop. She serves on the board of the Milford Area Players and has served as NHCTA's president since 2004. She recently retired as Air Force officer in the reserve forces. She loves sailing, gardening, and working on her very old house - when she's not working things theatre! She lives in Amherst and adores her two grown sons, Levi and Dashiel. ![]() Robin LacroixNHCTA RECORDING SECRETARY Robin LaCroix is serving her first term as Secretary for NHCTA. In 'real' life she is the Theater Facility Manager at the Amato Center for the Performing Arts in Milford allowing her to meet performers from all genres. The Amato Center is part of the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley - all proceeds from the rental of the theater facility go directly to programming for the children. This 468-seat theater is the former home of the American Stage Festival and since its renovation and re-opening in September of 2005, has played host to theater companies, comedians, dance troupes, concerts, speakers, and several political events. Robin has also directed several local productions including The King & I for the Amherst PTA and The Ride Down Mount Morgan for the Milford Area Players and is always on the lookout for some stage time. She lives in Milford with her husband Scott and son Jacob. Joe PelonziNHCTA TREASURER Joe was very happy to be appointed to the NHCTA board as treasurer. He also serves on the board for Nashua Theater Guild (NTG) and is active both backstage and performing. He had taken a long hiatus from theater until working the light board for NTG’s “Love, Sex and the IRS” last spring. His desire to be back on stage brought appearances this past summer in NTG’s “Much Ado About Nothing (Antonio)”and fall in “Wait Until Dark (Policeman)” and ACT’s “Arsenic and Old Lace(Brophy/Klein)”. Most recently he was stage manager for “Dinner with Friends” (NTG). Before his hiatus he appeared in such shows as “Godspell (Judas)”, “You Can’t Take it with You (Kolenkhov)”, “Arsenic and Old Lace (Jonathon)” and “Mousetrap (Major Metcalf)”. Joe resides in Hudson, NH and is employed as a computer professional. A. Robert DionneNHCTA WEBMASTER Rob is the founding and artistic director of Manchester's Majestic Theatre. He is also a free-lance director, musical director, and actor. He has worked with many area theatre companies, including The Majestic, Community Players of Concord, Leddy Center, New Thalian Players, Nottingham Theatre Project, Hampstead Middle School Drama, Nashua Theatre Guild, Streetcar Players, and Pittsfield Players.
